Quartz tube heater elements are a form of radiant heating that uses medium to long waves to directly heat objects. Infrared waves propagate through the air, and when they come into contact with a surface, they release heat energy regardless of the surrounding air temperature.

Quartz heating elements belong to a large family with different quartz colors: milky white, ruby ​​red, black, gold, transparent, and sandblasted. They also vary in internal heating wire composition, including iron-chromium-aluminum wire, nickel-chromium wire or tungsten wire, and carbon fiber wire. Additionally, they can be processed in different ways: directly in contact with air or sealed with inert gas, using quartz tubes or halogen tubes.
