Hun belangrijkste kenmerken zijn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. UV-blokkerende prestaties<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Afgesneden golflengte:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gangbare modellen blokkeren UV onder <strong>280 nm (UV-C)<\/strong> of <strong>320 nm (UV-B)<\/strong>waardoor transmissie voornamelijk boven <strong>320 nm<\/strong> (UV-A, zichtbaar licht en infrarood).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sommige kwarts met een hoge zuiverheidsgraad (bijv. JGS1) zendt van nature UV door tot aan <strong>185 nm<\/strong>waarvoor doping nodig is met elementen zoals <strong>titanium (Ti)<\/strong> of <strong>cerium (Ce)<\/strong> om UV-afschakeling te bereiken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Filtereffici\u00ebntie:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Voor UV-C (200-280 nm) kan de filtereffici\u00ebntie oplopen tot <strong>&gt;99%<\/strong> in Ti-gedoteerde kwartsbuizen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Optische eigenschappen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overbrenging:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Zichtbaar lichtbereik (400-700 nm): <strong>\u226590%<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infrarood bereik (700-2500 nm): <strong>\u226585%<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Steile UV-afsnijrand: De transmissie kan bijvoorbeeld springen van 0% bij 280 nm tot 80% bij 300 nm.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brekingsindex:<\/strong> 1,458 (@589 nm), hetzelfde als standaard kwartsglas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
